Metamorphosis Monday – Breakfast Nook   22 comments

It is time for another round of Metamorphosis Monday and this week I would like to show you my breakfast nook.  Here’s the before picture:

Now, never mind that there is a bee catcher in the first photo!  This is the only before shot I had since I forgot to take a picture!

I decided to change my birdhouse theme, which was taking over every corner of my house, and go with a rooster/hen theme in the breakfast nook.  Here’s the after…

The majority of the decorative items in my breakfast nook came from my new favorite store the Cranberry Cottage.  I always find just the right item there!  Now, for more Met Monday posts, click on the cute button above and head on over to Susan’s!

  6. Lana…I still can’t get past the bee catcher. I know I’m supposed to be looking at your breakfast nook…but honestly, I’ve never seen a bee catcher…look at all that gear he’s wearing…what a hoot. Ok, that’s not what I’m here for…I know. I do love your rooster touches…they are soooo cute! I especially like the rooster plates. Great Met Monday post!
Now, is it ok if I go watch the bee guy again…what is that can in his hands? Oh, I bet it’s smoke. I’ve heard that you can slow them down and sort of put them to sleep with smoke. I hope it’s not bug spray! And what is that thing sticking out front…did he vacuum them into something? Ok, I’ll stop about the bees. You need to post about this some day…pretty cool! :-)Susan
