Friday Praise   4 comments

Psalm 92:1 It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, 2 to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, 3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. 4 For you make me glad by your deeds, O Lord; I sing for joy at the works of your hands. 5 How great are your works, O Lord, how profound your thoughts!

Enjoyed a beautiful sunrise here in the Pacific Northwest this morning!  While I was taking these pictures from the deck, I left my door slightly ajar.  When I came back in the house to download my photos, I heard a collective buzzing at my dining room window.  SEVEN bees had ventured into the house in the short time I was taking my pictures.  I closed the blinds to keep them trapped at the window, went up stairs and got my Super Hold hairspray 🙂 I sprayed the little buzzers and carefully trashed them!  I was so caught up in the task of getting rid of the little army of buzzers that I failed to take pictures of my adventure! Still a great blogging story even if I do not have pictures!

Have a great oh eight, oh eight, oh eight!

  1. Absolutely Beautiful. Praise the Lord!!

  2. “The little buzzers”. Cracked me right up. Mind you, if that many bees were in my house, I would not think it cute at all. I’d be freaking right out.

One of my favorite psalms and I just love your pictures with it. So beautiful!

  3. That would have been a great blogging story – I can’t tell you how many times that I’ve forgotten my camera and missed a blogging tale. I didn’t know the hairspray trick – I’ll remember that one! I usually use the swatter.

    Beautiful psalm and pictures!

  4. Ha! Love it!!! I keep a can of “Rain Tree” around precisely for that reason…for spiders…but beeeeees? I’ll bet your window was reeeeally clean afterwards. 🙂
