1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,
to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

We Shall Behold Him
Lyrics by Dottie Rambo

The sky shall unfold, preparing His entrance;
The stars shall applaud Him with thunders of praise.
The sweet light in His eyes shall enhance those awaiting,
And we shall behold Him then face to face.

Chorus
And we shall behold Him, we shall behold Him
Face to face in all of His glory;
And we shall behold Him, Yes, we shall behold Him
Face to face, our Savior and Lord.

The angels shall sound the shout of His coming,
The sleeping shall rise from their slumbering place.
And those who remain shall be changed in a moment,
And we shall behold Him then face to face.

Chorus

  1. I’m the one on the left, the little one, below that big one!
    Looking forward to that day that we see Him face to face!!

  2. Come quickly Lord Jesus.

  3. Welcome to ABC’s of the Word. I’ve added your blog link. I’m still drooling over that steak! WOW—both meals looked amazingly wonderful.

  4. Ditto Ellen and Kathy B…..any day will fine with me. I haven’t heard that song in a long time, I can hear Sandy Patti singing it 🙂

  5. Tears roll down my face every time I hear Dottie sing that song and with the expression in her hands too. Oh, to finish well!
