Show & Tell Friday – Nativity Set   20 comments

For Show and Tell Friday this week, I would like to share my favorite nativity set with you. This was a gift from a gal I worked with over 15 years ago.  It is one of the first items I put out every year when decorating for Christmas.

  1. I love this classic set. There are so many out there to choose one but the classics always win.

    Take care,

You have such a way with decorating and display! Your Nativity scene is gorgeous!!!!

  4. Oh it is truly a beautiful set. My Nativity we have had for years is one of our favorite things.

  5. This Nativity scene is lovely. I have a simple one that I’ve kept displayed on a living room bookshelf year round since 2001 to remind me of Christ’s life throughout the year. One of these times I’ll probably put it away, but not for a while yet.
    Hugs and blessings,

  6. Such a beautiful nativity scene with precious memories behind it…your friend certainly had good taste:-) Love the way you have it all set up also! xo

  19. What a small world…my daughter was setting up our nativity scene and asked how to do it. I looked online to see if there was a specific way and saw your picture…I HAVE THE EXACT SAME SET and LOVE IT!!! There is nothing on the bottom; a hole (hollow) but no markings or name or anything so I thought mine was probably one of a few sets that someone actually made.
How many pieces do you have? My set has 17; just wondering if I have all of it. I truly adore this set; any idea on its cost? I got mine at a garage sale for $5.00 or so—I can’t remember; I have had it for about 6 years.. I love the way you have it displayed.
    Merry Christmas
