Show & Tell Friday – Alpha the Betta   17 comments

For Show & Tell Friday, I would like you to meet Alpha, my new Betta Fish!  I was suckered into buying this lovely creature by my boss lady at work.  He’s my new office buddy and as it turns out, I really like the little guy!!

“Alpha, here’s to a long a healthy life hanging around with me in my office at work!”

Revelation 21:6
He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.

Now, head on over to  There’s No Place Like Home to enjoy more Show & Tell.

  1. Welcome Alpha! You are cracking me up, girl!

  2. Like that fish bowl. If I was to ever get a pet…it would be a fish.

  3. I love his color! I’m not so good with fish :(.

  4. Fish never seemed to live long with me. Oh well! I love the color of yours! Hope he has a long life.

    Have a blessed weekend!

  5. Lovely Beta! Both my kids have one. I really like the bowl you have him in.

  6. Hee hee hee…. I love his name.

  7. We had a beta fish once and the kids loved him. Thanks for sharing.

  8. A fun partner for your desk – don’t get caught talking tooo outloud to Alpha!

  10. What a beautiful fish! My husband and I have 3 fish and they are such fun, low maintenance pets to have!;)

  11. He is beautiful!

  12. We had a blue Beta fish that we bought when we were traveling in our 5th wheel!!! His name was Geronamo and he travelled all over the country with us. He was a real joy. I like your name Alpha!!!

  13. What a royal color of blue that is! Fish are so peaceful and almost hypnotic to watch, but with 2 kiities, they might not last long around here…
    He’s a beauty…have a great weekend…Cassie

  14. I wish you luck with him – he is beautiful! My husband bought a lovely red one about six months ago, and not long after, we bought a pink one. They swam around happily in their own little bowls for a few months then died – one after the other 😦

  15. Welcome to your new office mate! :-))) I’Ve never seen a fish like that before, he’s very pretty indeed!

    Best wishes from Germany,
