Spring Reading Wrap Up   6 comments

The Spring Reading Wrap Up Interview:

  • What was the best book you read this spring?
    • Total Forgiveness by R.T. Kendall on the Non Fiction side and  Aunt Dimity Goes West by Nancy Atherton on the Fiction side.
  • What book could you have done without?
    • I liked them all!
  • Did you try out a new author this spring? If so, which one, and will you be reading that author again?
    • Yes – Diane Setterfield – (The Thirteenth Tale) I really liked her writing style.  I am looking forward to reading more books by her.
  • If there were books you didn’t finish, tell us why. Did you run out of time? Realize those books weren’t worth it?
    • I finished the books on my list and even added some extras!
  • Did you come across a book or two on other participants’ lists that you’re planning to add to your own to-be-read pile? Which ones?
    • Yes! The Dorothy Sayers’ mysteries.
  • What did you learn — about anything — through this challenge? Maybe you learned something about yourself or your reading style, maybe you learned not to pick so many nonfiction books for a challenge, maybe you learned something from a book you read. Whatever it is, share!
    • I learned that “Graciousness is shown by what you don’t say, even if what you could say would be true” – Total Forgiveness by R.T. Kendall
  • What was the best part of the Spring Reading Thing?
    • Participating!  This was my first one and I am hooked!
  • Would you be interested in participating in another reading challenge this fall?
    • Absolutely
  • Any other thoughts, impressions, or comments.
    • Thank you Katrina for putting this together.   Looking forward to the Fall Reading Challenge. I will be participating in a couple of Summer Reading Challenges as well.
